I posted content and promoted the book.
Every day I had to come up with something new.
I spent hours editing, refining, and making the content good.
Once you get on the content hamster wheel, you can never get off (if you want it to work).
As we talked about, this takes away from our ability to grow our real expert skills and serve our clients.
But now, everything has changed.
Here’s the new workflow that changes everything:
Instead of creating every piece of content from scratch, you let AI do the heavy lifting.
Train AI on your book + your writing style + best practices.
Feed it your YouTube videos, podcasts, and online courses.
Give it a bank of your stories.
This is all AI needs to create an endless amount of content, in your voice, to promote your book (and grow your brand in general).
Now, you might be asking yourself:
“But do I ever create anything new anymore?”
The answer is YES.
I recommend creating one new piece of non-AI-generated content per week.
It might be a long-form YouTube video or podcast.
Then let AI write 10 tweets from the episode, script you five reels, or write you two emails.
Your pillar piece of content gets posted + entered into the AI machine, giving it more data to pull from for future repurposing.
The result?
You still post a solid piece of human-generated content each week.
You feed the AI machine with fresh data.
You are still creating.
Yet you’re not having to create for all formats and all platforms.
And you can create a lot more.
I let go of my identity as an all-things-marketer. This was spreading me too thin, getting too far from my unique ability.
